At home Andrew and Sally’s three
children Abigail, Tilly and William have
their own permanent access to Santa and
Christmas as there is a wonderful Santa’s
Grotto, reindeer and a simulated indoor
forest.

December. We have various spikes in our
sales from mid-November, but probably
the one that is a little different to the rest
is from December 20 to Christmas Eve. We
have a large number of Easern Europeans
working around here and that’s their time
for putting up their tree – and it is the Nor-
way Spruce they pretty much all go for.’
Andrew made a brief return to showing
cattle a couple of years ago having told
Sally he just needed to have one more go.
‘I have 4 Limousin cattle now. They are
a hobby and there’s no financial pressure
with them. I took a bull to the breed show
at Carlisle and it came second to the over-
all champion. It’s all about Christmas trees
and cereal variety choice from now on.
