Welcome to our summer issue! In this issue we have included holiday destinations visited by the pupils, a class visit we would like to share as well as some fun activities for the summer. Chalkida Lefkada Patras Mykonos Salamina Patmos Santorini ‘The best class visit of the year’ by Eleanna Koka and Chris Samaras On Friday 29th May, we visited the Hatzikiriakio Institute (Issue 3, My Area) to donate the money we collected from our handwritten, Greek newspaper (Issue 2, My School). We saw the girls’ dormitories, the dining room, a computer room, a study room and a gym. They offered us a treat and told us that the girls who live there are from 4-18 years of age and they’re either orphans or their families can’t raise them. It was a great day for us because we felt we did something really useful! 1
