PRIMARY SCHOOL OF SOURPI, GREECE Do you want to see pictures of our school? Well, let’s start with the buildings! There are two buildings! The old one, which is made of stone … … and the new one! Our playground is very big! Here are some pictures: The old building of the Primary School of Sourpi was built in 1831 – 1835. It started as a boys’ school and in 1886 it also became a girls’ school. The boys’ school was on the first floor and the girls’ school was on the second floor of the old building. Back then, boys and girls entered the school from different gates of the playground! 4
