Recipe contributed by Buffet Magazine CHOCOLATE CHIP – HALVAH CUPCAKES Ingredients: 200 gr ground almonds 200 gr powdered sugar 200 gr butter (or margarine), softened 2 eggs ½ cup flour 200 gr halvah 1 cup chocolate chips ½ tsp baking powder courtesy of Buffet Israel's leading magazine for mehadrin gourmet cooking & healthy eating 46 THE ENGLISH UPDATE Preparation: 1. Put ground almonds, powdered sugar, flour, baking powder & butter into mixing bowl. 2. Mix on high speed for 2 minutes. 3. Add eggs & continue mixing for an additional 2 minutes. 4. Crumble the halvah & add with chocolate chips to mixture. 5. Mix at low speed (or by hand) until well blended 6. Fill cupcake holders 2/3 full. Bake for 12 minutes in preheated 1800 C oven.
