Studies Abroad British Studies at Oxford continued In addition to studying, I had plenty of time to explore not only Oxford, but also the places surrounding it. Oxford, England is undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking places I have and ever will encounter; it has the perfect balance of countryside and city life. A few of the group excursions I partook in include, London (where I witnessed the changing of the guards at Buckingham Pal- ace, saw a play at The Globe Theatre, visited The Tower of London, etc.), Stonehenge, The City of Bath, and Warner Bros. Studios. Staying in Oxford for a month motivated me to be more open-minded when it comes to trying new things, gave me an extraordinary group of friends, and a sense of independence I never experienced before. If anyone were ever on the fence about the British Studies at Oxford Program, I would have nothing but positive things to say; it’s undeniably a life-changing experience.
