Our organization in thepast few years has grown to be one of different sexualities, ethnicity, socioeconomic statuses, nationalities, and abilities. We are an organization that represents different political ideologies, occupations, and stages in life. As we approach 31 years old it is a reminder of how young we are and how great the potential for growth really is. We are in a beautiful time, to quote Myles Horton we make the road by walking.
Kappa Delta Chi's National Alumnae Association is happy to present to you the second NAA Getaway. The NAA Getaway is an opportunity to not only see a new city, but share the experience with sisters while serving the community. Last year, we shared a fun weekend in Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada and helped packed over 1,000 backpacks to help feed children in the valley. This year we will be going to New Orleans, Louisiana on June 8th-June 10th, 2018 to experience the Queen City of the South! The getaway is open to all Kappa Delta Chi Alumnae in good standing. We also encourage Alumnae to have friends and/or family join us!
Unfortunately, Festigals, the organization we were originally working with for our service project, had to move their event to a different weekend. However, this will not stop us from completing our goals for the weekend; especially since it will be New Orleans Tricentennial - celebrating 300 years of history in 2018!!!
Due to the changes in our itinerary, registration will now cost $87.00 for Active Alumnae and $137.00 for Alumnae. To bring a non-affiliated Kappa Delta Chi guest, the cost will be $87.00.
