am excited to say that I was announced the first Miss Latina at Wichita State University. last night! I feel so blessed to have been awarded this scholarship and to now have a platform to educate others about the Latino community. I didn’t win this award on my own, but with help of many. Firstly, all the honor and glory goes to God! He knows my dreams and aspirations and has never failed to provide for me. My amazing support system: my lovely family, KDCHI, and incredible friends. I truly believe that any of these girls would’ve been worthy of the crown and to represent our Latino community. It was a privilege to be on your court. 💖
