The NIU Colony of Kappa Delta Chi is also doing great things. This year they held their "Kiss Away the Cancer" event in hopes to raise awareness about cancer, since it's an important health issue in our community. By raising awareness they are able to educate their community on the impact cancer has, and on the importance of early detection and prevention.
They also participate in other community outreach efforts including the NIU Dance Marathon where they raised money for their local Children's Miracle Network.
