Omicron sisters participated in the Thomas River Latino Book awards located in San Marcos, TX. This is an event providing the community an opportunity to learn more about Latin Literature and learn about the culture as well. There where a variety of activities provided at the event and KDCHi helped at these booths. One booth showed how to empower children in partaking in non-violent protests.

Authors from across the United States came and sold their books, did signing, and many received awards. It was such a memorable experience and the sisters were happy to help out!

The ladies of the Chi chapter had a chance to participate in community service twice in one day! First, at The Huevos Rancheros Gala in the morning and later on in the evening at The Breast Cancer Gala.
