The Beta Alpha Chapter of Kappa Delta Chi at University of Illinois at Urbana– Champaign participated in One Winter Night to raises awareness on homelessness. Two years ago, sisters stayed in

a cardboard for an entire night to see what it was like for homeless individuals in the winter. For the past two years chapters have been holding signs at intersection areas trying to get donations.

From Paola "Last night was such an amazing night with my sisters. We stood outside in the cold for 2 hours to raise awareness and accept donations for the homeless. In just two hours we met the most amazing people. Donations went up to

$20 per person, but their individuals who stood out like a doctor who donated $40 and a nice man who donated $70. People came around and thanked us for what we were doing and two nice workers from Big Grove Tavern came outside and offered us coffee to warm up. In just two hours we raised more than $400. I'm so glad to have been part of an amazing night, especially because I shared it all with my sisters”.

our sisters took an initiative to help hands on

in the cleaning process! We are very grateful

for our sisters in helping and for all others

who helped as well. We love our San
