With less than three months away from the 25th Annual National Leadership Conference, there are a number of things to look forward to! The 2016 National Leadership Conference

Committee has heard your opinions, read your feedback and has worked diligently to prepare an interactive and memorable experience this year. Our curriculum is based on creating and living your legacy within this organization as well as within your professional and personal life.

Conference workshops by experienced professionals from within the community will cater to both undergraduate students and alumnae sisters. Each track will have their own agenda but everyone will spend time together during the general sessions and Friday workshops. The topics range from personal branding and implementing a healthy lifestyle, to financial responsibility and engaging in authentic communication. They will all speak to different issues as they apply to your track but will provide engaging conversations and activities! For more details, stay tuned to social media and your email for the official release of the agenda and the date of the Spring 2016 Conference Webinar. We promise there’s more to come and it will be a conference to remember.

Kayla Worthy is originally from New York City but moved to Orlando, Florida about halfway through her life. She considers both places home but currently lives in Florida. During the Spring of 2012 she was initiated into the the Alpha Sigma Chapter at Florida State University and majored in Hospitality Management with a minor in Communications and Mathematics. Post graduation she has gone on to create her own brand as a freelance event coordinator working with companies such as Madison Square Garden and the National Basketball Association to create experiences. This year serves as her first of many to come on the National Cabinet and she is ecstatic about developing the 2016 National Leadership Conference.
