After being initiated, a charter sister from The University of Texas-Dallas shares how she made her decision to join KDChi.

I first heard about KDChi through one of my charter sisters and really close friends Marilyn Flores. I remember the day she told me about KDChi and how amazing of a sorority it was. At first I was really hesitant to meet the intrested ladies who were wanting to bring KDChi to UT Dallas but I was happy that I went with her that day to Starbucks.
KDChi to me was something special. I do have to admit I was not the type to join greek life or have anything to do with it and I have had bad experiences with past sororities who have tried to recruit me. At first I did not want to join at all but what really stood out to me the most was the members and values of KDChi. The moment I met them and got to know them more. I knew I found home. I never met young women who were so commited in helping thier community and wanting to be apart of something greater. I knew that they would always be there for me.
