Desperado Pilots are a Canadian Alternative Rock band based out of Edmonton. The band was born when lead singer/songwriter Philip Beaton and drummer Nick Bailie, started a two-man project. Nick Bailie enlisted his friend and bassist Brady Angus to join the project. The chemistry was instant, but the boys agreed that something was still missing. Brady then invited his friend Nelson Lemay, guitarist to a practice one fateful night and the rest is history.

Their debut album release of was earlier this year called “EL(EP)HANT” following a new single release “Bon Voyage” this past August.

How did they come up with their band name you ask? It all started from a lyric from a song they previously wrote together but never came to fruition. They never kept the song but they were glad they kept the name.

The craziest things always happen on tour when Desperado Pilots and their good friends Arkavello went on the road together last year. They bounded really fast when they first met and decided to self-fund a tour around Alberta. That was the best time they ever had!

Their Muse: “We wanna do this for the rest of our lives, it drives us all. We all come together and make it our own. We love what we make.”
