WD: From a nutritional standpoint, do you follow any specific meal plan?

QA: Yes I do. I eat 6 times a day and all my meals are weighed and ready for the rest of the day. I prep my food for a week so that i won’t have any excuse not to eat it.

WD: Do you participate in any other sports?

QA: Not at the moment but I would like to join tough mudder or a spartan race.

WD: In the world of bodybuilding, is there someone you idolize?

QA: Arnold Schwarzenegger. "For me life is continuously being hungry. The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive, but to move ahead, to go up, to achieve, to conquer."

When I first heard this it truly inspired me.

WD: Ah yes, a house hold name. So what has been the most memorable part of your life as a bikini competitor so far?

QA: Being on the Arnolds stage representing Canada and showing off all my hard work and also the first bite of the rice cakes with peanut butter and jam.

WD: That is very relatable! I like to ask this to all our athlete’s who come on with us at the Edmonton Muse. What is your muse? What inspires you to do what you do?

QA: The people around me who believe in me and the people I have inspired. If I can do it anyone can. Look for someone or something that will inspire you and motivate you to be better and happy.

WD: I couldn’t have said it better myself. Unfortunately our interview has to come to an end but not without one last question: If you had a message you would like to send out into the world, what would it be?

QA: Love yourself, do what makes you happy, and set a goal. Do your best to reach your goals. Only you can change your life and believe in yourself.
