Reverend Horton Heat

Mad Bomber Society

Opening up for Reverend Horton Heat was Mad Bomber Society. As you can expect from this group, they put on an awesome show that really got the crowd going. Even The Reverend himself had to make a shout out to them while he was on stage and rightfully so! These guys put on a show to remember as they skip across the stage, dive into the crowds, dance on top of speakers, bars.... pretty much anything they can climb onto. They engage their audience bringing them into their realm while they play and the crowds go wild. Their entire performance is a statement and one that you will want to be a part of. This high energy, six piece, suit attired ska band absolutely rocks and you need to seem them in action!

"It was great opening for Reverend Horton Heat- such a great band and kind of a cool meeting.

We used to play the original New City Suburbs years ago and so did the Rev, so we've seen

him before. Super fun to get to share a stage with him finally!

We're looking at playing some shows coming up, I've written some new songs and we hope

to put something out next year!"

Reverend Horton Heat is a staple in psychobilly. If you

like the genre, you know of The Rev. If you like

rockabilly, you also probably know of The Rev.

Especially one of his biggest hits, The Psychobilly

Freakout.

He headlined at the Starlite Room with 3 local acts for

the fest and of course, everyone was ready to get

crazy! These guys mesmerized the crowd and had

every fan in the room watching with intent.

The Rev also shared a few stories about the road and his life experiences which really brought a great personal element to the already class act!

"We always love comin' to Edmonton. The people here are always so friendly and remind us of the people

back home. They just want to listen to good music and drink a beer. We have a football team in Texas called the Oilers too!

It's always a good time here and we will most likely be back."
