One of the largest hurdles commonly most challenging to overcome when we want to start living the health and fitness lifestyle is the ability to take what we say we will do and put it into action. The process to make a decision a reality is a two part process.

Part One: Change your mindset

When we live a certain way for so long and nothing seems to have changed for the better when we want them to? It’s time to change how we live. This starts from the mind. We can start a new year, buy a new house or even start a new job, but if we go into all of these ‘new’ things with an ‘old’ mindset, nothing will be different. Sure it might seem different at first, but that is only temporary. It won’t last unless we change how we think. We need to decide to make that change for the better and opportunities will open up for us.

Part Two: Make It Happen

Nothing will work unless you work. We are all fantastic planners. We can plan to a point we excite ourselves into starting. Then it comes the day to finally take action and suddenly we get hit with the realization that this is hard work. As a heads up to everyone, in order to make a change happen, it will take work from you. Nothing comes easy, especially change. Nothing will happen unless we take that very first step to make it happen.

When we put these two together, we create a formula for change. Many of us stop at part one and follow that up with a “one day”. If we combined part one with part two, we create ‘Day One’.
