The last band of the night, and the big draw for myself personally was Victoria's Unleash the Archers. I am a relatively new fan and can't get enough of them. The front-woman, Brittney has such a captivating, operatic vocal range. Nevermind that she is beautiful, badass, Viking Goddess!

Brittney and the boys rocked our world and left us wanting more. She is lovely to meet in person. She visited with all the fans that took the time to chat with her. Many selfies were taken. I have such huge respect for the ladies of metal.

It was pouring rain by the time we left the venue, but metal was running in our veins to keep us warm on the short walk home.

After not nearly enough sleep, we hit day 3. This was an all ages day, which was great for a handful of young blood being able to experience some live metal. I would love to give a special shout-out to a certain young Daemon. That dude rocked the mosh pit hard core! He is going to be a force to be reckoned with when he is old enough to go to the adult shows.

There was a bit of a mess with the schedule on day 3. Dahlmer's Realm drummer got stopped by the Police for an "illegal" u-turn and then harassed. Luckily, they did get to play.

Sunday opened with Edmonton's own Disturb the Dead.

Voltang came all the way from Hamilton, Ontario to take over the stage for some "raunch and roll". They had some awesome energy on stage. The front man did not stand still and took over the floor in front of stage.

The cops let Mannville Alberta's Dahlmer's Realm drummer go so we could finally get them up on stage.

Calgary's Krepitus brought us their thrashy style to the stage.

Vancouver's Assimilation took the stage next; they put the "Ass" in "Assimilation".
