Let's start off with a little about Andrea. She is a woman of passion, love, and stories. She writes with her pen in her hand but her heart on her sleeve, bringing you along with her on her journey through it all. She is just as impressionable and impassioned in her performances. Listening to her music is like getting to know her, starting with her heart and working your way to her genuine, charismatic personality.

The title, 'Diary Of A Housewife' is a great fit. You live through the life of a woman going through the experiences and growth. From heartbreak to putting her foot down and letting the world know that she knows what she wants and she knows her worth. It's kind of empowering in its' own way.

The cover complements just that too. It shows

a barefoot, modernly dolled up Andrea in an old car. Like she is holding on to the lessons of the past but ready to move forward in her future.

The album starts off with Million Miles Away. It's about a couple that is feeling the test of time. The harmonies in this song are fantastic and it is a great choice to be an opener.

Fire in Lace has this amazing saloon style piano that is featured throughout this entire song, and it is brilliant.

Homefront has a two step beat that really highlights the steel guitar.

Breaking Through slows everything down with more beautiful harmonies that are accompanied by that steel guitar.

Innerglow picks things back up with a pop-country rock beat and a powerful Andrea pushing out those vocals. Her attitude starts to come out in this and it is her charisma shining though.

Song Without A Name is so inspiring and sets an amazing message out to ban the word enough. Because you are enough. Love, respect and accept yourself. What a powerful directive to release, especially to the youth. Everything about this song is mervelous.

Stronger Than The Storm slows us back down do that simple country tune while telling a story we can all relate to.

A Memory Ago has a whitty set of lyrics about change. A beautiful and moderately paced tune.

Waiting For Sirens tells a sad story of a woman in an abusive relationship brought on by alcohol, waiting for the police to come and save her from him. Very deep and emotional. A cry worthy song for sure.

You Didn't Make Me is my favorite. If I were to guess what would be her radio hit, this is it. Catchy, exciting and I love the attitude Andrea exerts in her voice and lyrics. Tremendously done and amazingly empowering.

Nothing Lies pleasantly surprised me. Usually albums go out with a bang, but this was the best song to end on. Slowing it down to a close.

I am very impressed by the overall production and recording of this entire album. It is crisp and balanced, not a beat was skipped and the high caliber talent behind all the musicians is definitely spotlighted. The banjo, piano and steel guitar really brought out the old country but still giving that modern twist. Overall this entire album was enjoyable and the progression of slow and fast and soft to powerful was a treat to review.
