alking in the doors of

the Needle Vinyl Tavern at 9:30PM, the place was packed. And at first it came to me as a surprise because most events don't get their crowds pouring in until 10:30PM however, it became very clear why everyone wanted to be there. The atmosphere was welcoming, social and fun. You could venture in, be greeted in by the awesome staff of the venue and the beautiful queens from ISCWR. There was a photo booth set up by Mojo Photo with strangers becoming acquiantances and dressing up for some pictures. There was an amazing artist, Giselle Denis, doing a live painting to the music, which was later auctioned off. A large variety of goods were placed out on the silent auction tables ranging from Alley Kat and Credo, to Shar Powell (our Artist of the Month!) and Con Boland Photography. I saw some other contributions from La Soaperie, Rapid Fire Theatre , The Art Gallery of Alberta and Aurora Yoga and Spa. There were many more and a sense of a charitable local business/artists community was prevalent. It was an impressive display. Everyone was dressed to impress, celebrating to offer support to The Little Warriors.

But let's not forget about the talent that hit the stage and had the crowds on that dance floor all night long. Two awesome headliners.....
