Social Justice Wrapped Up In NuMetal

'Revolution Engine' is already a great name for a band but what really surprised me about these guys, is that it isn't just a name. They engage their audiences into making a difference, to be the change in the world, to increase social awareness... They are a social justice, rock and roll, numetal machine that wants to drive you into rebellion and their message can be heard in every song.

November 23rd, they teamed up with Crash To Eden at The Station on Jasper for their CD release party, releasing their first full length album. (You can check out their EP HERE, released in 2015).

On stage, these guys are engaging, high energy and ready to bring you into their world to kick some patriarchy ass.

Their new album, Fist and Flame, lives up to the bands image. It's not angry lyricism, it is standing up and fighting for what you believe in. It is 11 songs relating to current social issues that we should be paying attention to. It is 44 minutes of bringing you to the realities that most of us try t run away from.

Personally, my favorite song off this album is 'Dying To 'Live'.

Their new release is currently on iTunes and though they do not have any events listed, I look forward to their next performance!
