The Edmonton Muse December 2017 | Page 7

WD:What has been the most memorable part of your life as a football player so far?

AG: 2015 Grey Cup Champion! I’ve had a lot of fun times as an athlete. Making the NFL roster being one of my favorite moments, but nothing compares to winning that grey cup in 2015 with that team. We did a lot more winning than losing and had a lot of fun off the field. Hopefully I can get that feeling again soon

WD: What is your muse? What inspires you to do what you do?

AG: My family inspires me to do what I do. I have people I can’t let down. People who have been in my corner and supported me for years. A daughter who looks up to me. A wife who supports me no matter what. Parents who have told me I could do it since I was in elementary school. I love football and I know playing won’t last forever. So I try to treat every day like it could be my last. When it's all said and done, I want people to know I gave my best no matter what. I want to set the bar high for my kids and let them know they can do even better.

WD: What an inspiration! Thank you so much for taking the time to be a part of The Edmonton Muse and before we go we have one more question for you. If you had a message you would like to send out into the world, what would it be?

AG: I want the kids to know it’s ok to give your best in every aspect of life. Find your purpose, your why, your reason and work towards it every day. You won’t always make the popular decision, and sometimes you’ll have to take the road less travelled, but as long as you’re working towards something you love, and you give it your all, you won’t be disappointed. You only get so many chances to turn a dream into a reality. Don’t let the doubters tell you no and attack your dreams everyday.
