Introduction

With the local economy currently experiencing volatility, it is important to keep our constituency apprised of both the latest economic news and the resources available to businesses interested in relocating to Odessa, expanding herein, or simply maintaining profitability. Often, the highest value of an Economic Development Organization is in providing partnership introduction opportunities with industry cluster contacts, or in providing information sources for firms needing assistance, suppliers or customers for products.

This monthly newsletter is your Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Department’s vehicle to assure that Odessa businesses are better informed and cognizant of current events and opportunities, and we hope that its readers will find it informative and helpful. Please let us know if you have ideas for discussion and research topics, so that we can provide the most useful information to our readers. Thank you for your support of the economic development of Odessa.

Sincerely,

Scott G. Jones
