and much more. From past four years I
was pursuing my studies here but, there
was not a single moment when I didn’t
praised this city. Me and my co-editor
Arnav, used to discuss about the features of it.
Our talks usually start from the weather conditions and the ends at the never
ending beauty and its vitality. But, the only question that last was, who will
take care of this heritage of ours?
The people working in this city for art, culture, heritage, science and technology and literature were the main part playing characters. Many of them
were known and many of them were unknown. We searched through the
narrowest lanes to each and every universities for such heroes and, found
the lack of focus of media in this subject has abandoned the real aspect of
society. This magazine is focused on covering the stories of such people
who are unknown to us but have extraordinary achievements.
This issue of E-mag has been focusing on our short experience on trip to
rishikesh and an interview with kathak institute teacher. This time we are
covering the literature aspects of Rudyard Kipling’s “Kim”. Kipling’s books
were majorly focused on Indian subcontinents. Dehradun was also the part
of the Kipling’s trail. Hence his Nobel winning novel is chosen as a part to
be covered by our first issue.
Our introductory issue is also featuring the art and illustration by different
painters and photographers. Hope you will love our initiative.
