1 I was born & raised in Tampa so it shares a special place in my heart. So many memories throughout my life have been made in Ybor, from going to the movies when I was a little girl to nights at the old Czar where we would dance until we could hardly breathe. 2 Everyone’s invited. Ybor is full of all sorts of people…you know, dressing - decorating themselves as they please. I feel it’s a very free place, a place where you can be yourself & although there may be some who don’t understand there are many who do. 3 The pizza - HELLO! NYNY PIZZA! Locals understand, nuff said. 4 The culture. So much culture. It’s incredible how diverse your night can be on such a small strip. Dive bars. Jazz clubs. Dance clubs. Gay clubs. Strip clubs. Cuban cigars. Hip Hop Shows. Maybe play some pool- drink good beer & enjoy dope food. All of this can go down in one night. Even on a Monday. 5 Always beautiful sunset view of Downtown Tampa. 6 Very historic, brick everywhere and you can take the trolley from Ybor to Channel District to Downtown 7 The Bricks - Art shows - Amazing staff - great food - awesome bar. 8 Revolve Thrift & La France! So many cute clothes & accessories 9 Tattoos. EVERYWHERE. For affordable prices. with so many beautiful artists. 10 Finally - The community. The people. For the locals, it’s a huge family vibe. We’ve all partied together & there is a lot of love in Ybor.
