CROWNED
$12,250 in educational scholarships awarded at the 72nd Annual Miss Tampa Scholarship Pageant
Taylor Lokey was crowned Miss Tampa 2018 at the
72nd Annual Miss Tampa Scholarship Pageant at
the Moroccan Palace, Busch Gardens Saturday,
February 3, 2018. Taylor Lokey is a class of 2016
graduate of University of Maryland, College Park.
She is a current Tampa Bay Lightning Girl and
is looking forward to attending graduate school
to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor,
specializing in adolescents and children going
through crisis and trauma. Taylor’s win as Miss
Tampa 2018 gives her $5,000 in scholarship money
to further her education. Taylor will now compete at
the Miss Florida Pageant on June 30, 2018.
“It’s an honor hold the title and responsibility of
becoming Miss Tampa 2018,” said Taylor Lokey.
“I’m so thankful for everyone who has helped
me along on this journey. I’m looking forward to
pursuing my passions and studies with help from
the Miss Tampa scholarship and experience that
