13 Ugly Men
The 13 Ugly Men have been throwing parties for over 20 years , and each one seems to get better than the next . The legend seems to continue , but only the group is getting younger , the membership larger , and some might say better looking . The organization is now comprised of 34 volunteer members , each representing leaders in their respected field of day to day operations from attorneys , doctors , pilots , to entrepreneurs . The not for profit , 501c3 , has donated over $ 1M to local Tampa Bay charities , and at the same time have orchestrated new concepts , venues , and has kept a fresh brand that guests can ’ t get enough of .
Signature events that many know like the White Party & the Halloween Party now are complimented by additional parties like the Derby Party , Decade ( 80 ’ s ) Party , and Ugly Sweater Party . What makes the events truly special is how they impact our community by raising large donations to organizations in need from High Risk Hope , Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa , & Redefining Refuge . On top of those efforts , they pitched in and cleaned up houses during Hurricane Irma , and volunteered as SoleMen at annual event like Wine , Women , & Shoes for the Children ’ s Cancer Center . They sponsor efforts like the Tampa Theatre seating initiative , purchasing supplies for back to school students , paying for police SWAT training , and causes like arthritis in healing hands . “ Our events are what allow us to make huge donations that can help a charity with a
