The Discerner Scott McLachan
Scott , born in Scotland and now living in The Netherlands , was first inspired to create fantasy artwork by the likes of Chris Foss , Roger Dean and Frank Frazetta … his childhood painter heroes ! Airbrush based sci-fi work was his early passion but this developed into a more general fantasy theme using acrylics and large canvases . More recently he has turned to the challenge of oils . His work always tries to capture a snapshot within the context of an event … the outcome known only to the observer . Scott shows his work at small galleries and venues where the scale of the work can be better appreciated .
