1. The Association of Residential Communities (ARC) has been in existence
for over 10 years, with 11 founder members, 10 chapters around the
country and over 300 member estates, home to over 200,000 residents
and representing 58% of the market in respect of number of homes.
2. ARC has researched, developed and sourced over 400 best
practice resources covering all disciplines of residential community
management and leadership.
3. ARC conducts an annual industry-wide survey in which all possible
residential community statistics are m ade available for estate
benchmarking purposes.
4. ARC and Estate Living have strategic partnerships with residential
community experts across various areas of residential community
management, and these are available to ARC members.

Regular ARC chapter meetings are held where residential estate
managers network with each other, thereby learning from each other on
local, regional and national issues.
10. Estate Living collaborates with ARC on content, and the distribution
of pertinent information from these events to community managers,
trustees, property developers and residents.
11. ARC is an International Chapter of the Community Association
Institute (USA) where all residential estate managers have access
to an international qualification and professional designation. ARC
has established CAISA, which offers these internationally recognised
qualifications and designations.
12. ARC has established the Residential Community Council (RCC) to deal
with imposed legislation, and has developed mechanisms to ensure that
the industry is empowered to self-regulate.
The ARC website attracts over 50,000 hits per month, with 2,000
unique visitors and, via their portal has a regular newsletter, calendar
of events and resources, including a Q&A section updated with all
queries received, plus a two-way communication portal that contains
up-to-the-minute industry alerts on matters directly affecting residential
communities.
The Estate Living web portal and content receives in excess of 450,000
impressions monthly and provides a place for estate marketing and
reputation management.
13. ARC constantly sources legislation affecting residential communities,
imparts this to members, and runs workshops assisting residential estate
managers and directors to alleviate risks attached to this legislation.
14. The Estate Living–ARC partnership offers residential estates and
developments the most inclusive support structures, which include
estate and community management, internal communication and brand
reputation, all to the benefit of unity within a community.
