On the interior, we removed
damaged kitchen cabinets, the
old stove, and refrigerator. The
new stove is on order, and we
expect to have it in time to heat a
pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. In
the meantime, the new microwave
is in service to heat food for
volunteers and light cooking.
Several other parts of the project are still in the development stage such as installing new tile and replacing
a historical door with a replica. Completion and methodology for these programs will evolve over the
next two to three weeks.
