The Decorative Folk Artist Issue 112

The Decorative Folk Artist Hi Members, It’s been a busy month, so there is plenty for you to catch up with. Julie and I spent a week in Cornwall and the trip included a family wedding - plenty to tell there, but probably best not in the public domain. There is news from the committee, and our special deciding panel, about convention content. See the pictures of what is on offer on page 5. And although not everyone is in to paper crafts, card making, or mixed media there is member news hot off the Hochanda shopping channel on page 6. Don’t forget that you will be paid £5 for any project published in the newsletter. Although we expect it to be complete,( i.e. colour photo, printable pattern, list of tools and equipment, and complete instructions) we don’t expect it to be laid out ready to copy in to the newsletter. Our editor will proof read, and happily ensure spellings and grammar at sorted, and will lay out the page to make it look pretty - all he needs are the words and pictures. Once you see your piece in the newsletter, send your bank sort code and account number to claim payment. Don’t be shy, don’t leave it to the few. You are as much a part of BADFA as any other member - and we’d love to hear from you. And as always, to contact me, or anyone in the team, or to send articles and projects, e-mail - [email protected] .
