Bare Bones Film Festival The 18 th annual Bare Bones International Film Festival is set to take place April 18-23 at various venues across Muskogee . Here , actors , directors , producers , techies , writers and fans can connect and celebrate these works , all of which were made with budgets less than $ 1 million . It ’ s not just a local draw , either – folks travel to Muskogee from all corners of the globe . According to the festival ’ s website , “ The Bare Bones philosophy is to promote and support the efforts of the small budget filmmakers and producers . We treat everyone the way we would like to be treated and provide lots of encouragement .” Furthermore , the organization boasts that the small town charm and appeal of Bare Bones might be a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of big cities . Party in the Park Return to Honor Heights Park and gather under The Papilion at 1:30 p . m . on Saturday , April 15 , for the 10 th annual Party in the Park !
