Danbury Firm Makes the USGA Look Good

When CSGA Executive Director Mike Moraghan wanted to spruce up the association ’ s conference room , he turned to the USGA for pictures of several Connecticut golf legends including Gene Sarazen and Julius Boros .

“ The USGA was happy to help , but for reproductions and framed photos they said we needed to contact a group called Visual Impact ,” recalled Moraghan . “ It was a pleasant surprise to discover they ’ re a Connecticut company based in Danbury .”
Turns out Visual Impact has been around since 1979 , a small company that specializes in custom printing , framing and graphic display . Their connection to golf and the USGA began in 2007 when , according to Visual Impact president , Bill McCann , “ We approached the USGA about helping to set up an e-commerce solution to sell many of their historic and contemporary images of the game online . The result was the USGA Photo Store which we continue to do the fulfillment for today .”
