Connecticut Native, David Lussier is
Off icial US Open Artist
F
rom the time he could first pick up and
hold a pencil, Windham, Connecticut native
David Lussier was drawing on any surface
that could display his images. From childhood
through high school his creative instincts led
him to a four-year program at Paier College
of Art in Hamden, as well as study at Lyme Art
Academy in Old Lyme.

Now a nationally recognized landscape
painter with a studio in Willington, Mr. Lussier’s
work has garnered more than 75 awards and is
in numerous private and corporate collections
throughout the United States. His technique
is characterized by a masterful use of color
harmonies and poetic brushwork that bring his
paintings to life.
