Dates : July 8th - 11th ( Match Play ) Last Year : In 2012 , co-medalist and number one seed John VanDerLaan from Heritage Village Country Club defeated number fifteen seed Patrick Hallisey of Shuttle Meadow Country Club 3 & 1 in the final . One Quick Fact : The 2013 Connecticut Junior Amateur will be held at Watertown Golf Club for the fifty-eighth time , the most by any Connecticut club . Since 1952 , Watertown Golf Club has hosted the Junior Amateur all but two years ( 1959 and 1978 ).

26th Connecticut Mid-Amateur Championship
Dates : August 20th - 21st ( 36 Holes Stroke Play ) Last Year : In 2012 , Brian Ahern of Wampanoag Country Club captured his second Mid-Amateur title in three years , defeating 2012 Player of the Year and Senior Player of the Year Dave Szewczul of Tunxis Plantation on the second playoff hole . One Quick Fact : Construction of the Fairview Farm Golf Course began in October , 1998 , when owner Bob Ferrarotti purchased what had been a dairy farm from the Delay family . All eighteen holes of the championship layout was completed and opened for play in 2000 .

Dates : September 23rd - 24th ( 36 Holes Stroke Play ) Last Year : In 2012 , Dave Szewczul of Tunxis Plantation became the first player to successfully defend his title at the Connecticut Senior Amateur since Joe Polizzano ( 2002 and 2003 ). One Quick Fact : The 68th Connecticut Senior Amateur Championship will be held at Tallwood Country Club for the first time in tournament history . In 2004 , the club received the Walter Lowell Public Course Award for Distinguished Service .

Smith Richardson Golf Club by four shots over Rudy Hermstadt of Crestbrook Park . One Quick Fact : Manchester CC has previously hosted three Connecticut Senior Amateur Championships ( 1981 , 1983 , 2008 ) and one Connecticut Junior Amateur Championship ( 1948 ).
