D o you remember the first time you walked into a coworking space ?

I do . It was in Ho Chi Minh City ( HCMC ), Vietnam and it was my third day in that fascinating country .
Due to the nature of my work , I was desperately trying to find a place that had Skype video-quality wifi , and also served tasty espresso shots .
I had desperately searched the digital landscape for a coworking space in HCMC , that I could call my temporary “ office home .” So you can imagine my relief when I read about Work Saigon .
There are no daily , or monthly drop in fees there ! They have an extremely fast and reliable internet connection , and they also make some seriously amazing espresso .
Work Saigon is located in an alleyway , and it has a very high wall surrounding it . There are no large , visible signs on the premises either . It took me quite some time to find this Digital Nomad oasis .
Strangely , it ’ s as if Work Saigon is trying to hide from the online working world . The front doors are made of a very thick , and heavy glass . And yep … you guessed it , no obvious signage on the doors either .
Is Work Saigon playing Digital Nomad hide-andseek ?
Maybe … but either way here ’ s where the really awesome , and super quiet party part comes into play .
After my long search , you can imagine the excitement and camaraderie I felt when I walked through the front doors and saw around 20 of my fellow Digital Nomads busily typing away !
It was as if I ’ d walked into the coolest college party on campus . What made this party overtly different from my college days of past , was that nobody was talking . In fact , I think maybe a mere 2 people looked up to acknowledge my existence .
