The weather was great this week in Newton County, and citizens enjoyed it in several ways.
Jakes Day at Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center was a celebration of the outdoors, and Thursday’s
Concert on the Square featuring Apostles of Bluegrass drew a huge crowd to the Square Park.

School in Rockdale County and
