You’re a law abiding citizen and the law enforciment officer is trying to do their job to keep the community safe; both want to handle this situation safely and correctly. Do you know what your rights are? Here’s some information from the “Know Your Rights” seminar hosted March 28 by the NewRock Legal Society, ChiTauOmega AKA, Stone Mountain DST chapter. 1. I’m being pulled over in a dark or dangerous spot on the road, I can keep going until I find a safe or well-lit area to stop. TRUE FALSE 2. I can video or record the interaction with the law enforcement officer. 3. I have a current registration sticker on my car tag, so I cannot be pulled over for car registration issues.
