WILDLIFE WATCHING CHECK OUT THE LOCALS Be still. Be patient. Be ready. Then, be amazed. TIPS FOR WILDLIFE WATCHING The County offers visitors frequent animal sightings, particularly at its two wildlife conservation centers— Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge and Debouille Public Reserved Land. But please remember to use caution around wildlife. While moose are usually docile, resist the temptation to approach too closely. They have been known to charge people when they feel threatened. Wild animals should not be fed, startled, or included in a selfie. VisitAroostook.com VisitAroostook.com 29
