Exclusively produced for The Cotswold Company , each mattress is expertly handcrafted to order by master mattress artisans here in the UK to ensure every stitch is given with the utmost care and attention .
Using traditional mattress making methods alongside modern innovation for the very best in comfort and support . Filled with exquisite , hand teased British wool from farms in Dartmoor and finished with the purest chemical-free materials , even the hand tied pure wool tufts are unbleached and entirely natural . We ’ re introducing three sumptuous styles to choose from : The Stow , The Dursley and The Malmesbury .

A closer look at what ’ s inside
It all starts with the very finest materials . We use the highest grade of Dartmoor wool from a private family farm with over 100 years ’ experience in sheep farming . It is these renowned and romantically rugged hills of Dartmoor that provide the ideal habitat for our most important material . Renowned for its natural temperature regulating properties , wool is the perfect ingredient for mattresses – keeping you wonderfully warm and cosy during the cold winter months yet cool and comfortable during the warmer season . Next is the 100 % pure Egyptian cotton . Loved for its strength , durability and high thread count , it has naturally breathable properties – essential for a good night ’ s sleep . Our Comfort Intelligence pocket springs are made in the UK too , using British steel to ensure the very best in quality and durability , alongside unrivalled support and comfort for many , many years .
