believe the NHTV was amongst them. I met representatives from NHTV at a study fair in my city. When I told them that I wanted to study something creative, yet serious enough for me to be able to find a job afterwards, they suggested IMEM to me. It seemed perfect, so I applied. I also went to an orientation day and had the chance to visit the city before I made my final decision and I fell in love with it. Did you like living in Breda – what are some of your favorite places in the city? When I started living in the Netherlands I took the chance to visit many other cities, but I knew that Breda was the right place for me. I just love the vibe of it so much. It’s cozy and everything is accessible, yet it’s quite international and there is something happening all the time because of all the 9 young people who live there. I also think the location of Breda is really cool because it’s so close to Belgium, as well as other nice bigger cities in the Netherlands. That made it perfect for day trips. Regarding my favorite places, I always loved being in the city center, the park, a café called “Inspire”, a club called “De Boulevard” (I heard it is now closed unfortunately), the skate park “Pier 15”, and of course parties in Easy Street were always fun! What do you miss the most about living in Breda? All the things that I mentioned above. The relaxed mentality of the people, my friends, of course, riding a bike and something I never imagined that I would say is that I miss the gloomy sweater-weather sometimes.
