lexis obert Throughout your multifaceted career, you have earned the honor of several exalted First Prize awards, including those from the Naumberg Competition and the Carnegie Hall International American Music Violin Competition. What would you say has been your greatest, or most memorable achievement to date, and why? In the performing field I am very happy to have performed as soloist on the stage of Carnegie Hall both in recital and in a concerto appearance. My 4 recent recordings of concertos with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London is something that I am equally proud of. In general, in my professional world, I am very happy to have been able to combine my solo and chamber music performing career, with that of my concertmaster career, along with my teaching career, and the music administrative career of artistic director of several Chamber Music Societies, including that of “Beethoven, Bagels and Banter” series at the Broadstage , Santa Monica, in Los Angeles. In a non-professional sense, I am very proud of my 4 children and 22 grandchildren .
