ou are an awarded Realtor® with a plethora of accolades
under your belt. Looking back over the course of your
career up to now, do you have a transaction that was
your absolute most thrilling as a newer agent, and do you have a
most memorable transaction from your more seasoned years?
I would say if I was looking back over the course of my career
the transaction that stands out to me the most, is actually my first
one. I was selling my best friend’s parents their first home in Los
Angeles. I remember when we were kids, my friend’s father being
tough as nails and that’s exactly how he was during our real estate
transaction. To complicate matters, it was a court approval probate
sale, so for being an inexperienced agent I had to do a lot of research
to make sure I wasn’t making any mistakes. I walked out of that
transaction a little beaten up but much more knowledgeable than
I had was when I walked in. I knew that if I could be successful in
that particular transaction, I could handle anything the real estate
market was going to throw at me!
