President, Tip of the Iceberg Entertainment
Kay, as she is known to everyone, was born and
raised in San Diego, California. She is theyoungest of
ten and, because her Daddy was a “rolling stone”, she
had a bonus of five additional siblings. Growing up,
she always wanted to be a high fashion model, but
she wasn’t tall enough, so she did runway and print
work to satisfy her desire.
Married at the tender age of seventeen while still in
high school, Kay left San Diego after graduation and
moved with her new husband to Detroit, Michigan.
While in Detroit, she took a job at the Detroit
Zoological Park, where she was a security guard.
After a year, she went back to California and attended
Ventura College, earning her first of many degrees
in the field of Psychology. She earned a Psychiatric
Technician’s License from the State of California and
worked at Camarillo State Hospital for fifteen years
until it was closed down, and then was transferred to
Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk, CA, where she
remained until retiring ten years later.
Kay decided to go back to school and received her
Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the
University of La Verne. All of that was fine and good,
but there was something else calling her. She
eventually explored a career in acting. She got signed
up with a talent agency and booked her first acting job
in a film called “Lost Star” by Johnny Cox Productions.
She also was Assistant Director.
After completing several other projects in the
entertainment industry, Kay was pulled into the family
business, Tip of the Iceberg Entertainment, where she
has a natural flair for wheeling and dealing with her
cousins and their extremely talented group of hip hop
artists. She’s the fresh, new force driving Tha Monstaz
to greater heights and looking forward to an amazing
future. Kay is a Lady Monsta and proud of it.
