10: During essay or free response questions, proofread before going on to check for spelling & grammatical errors.

11: If you have a multiple choice that you don’t know the answer to, use the process of elimination. Think about the question and root out the answers that don’t make any sense.

12: If there is a difficult question that you don’t know or feels overwhelming, come back to it later

13: Educated guesses are okay! If you have absolutely no idea, rule out the answers you know aren’t right, this increases the chance your guess is right.

14: Look out for patterns, if you seem to answer a certain letter more than others, double check to see if those answers are correct.

15: Most of the time, the first answer that comes to mind is the correct one; don’t doubt your memory too much.

16: Get enough sleep the night before!! Eat a good breakfast!! Being alert and not hungry is super important!

17: Don’t leave questions blank. A wrong answer is better than none at all.

18: Make sure your answers are neat. If your 9’s look like 4’s, then it could be a problem.

19: Read the directions carefully so that you don’t do something you aren’t supposed to.
