From the Editor’s Desk
Joyeux Anniversaire!! In the blink of
an eye five years have gone by and
what started as a little platform to
keep the creative fires burning
during the development period of
projects at ProSeed Books has
grown into it’s own entity. In fact
when other creative ventures push
PSB’s main projects to a back burner
The Cone has stayed consistent in
showcasing great photography and
photographers, in introducing artists
and creatives in our varied
interviews, and not to mention the
wide array of original poetry and
fiction. These last five years I have
had an immense pleasure to
collaborate and engage with writers,
actors, musicians, models, and
creatives in so many fields and I feel
that we are still only really getting
started. In this our anniversary issue
we have included all of the aspects
you love about The Cone. We have
the discovery of a new photographer
based in China, our ever faithful

Fashion Squares from Clarke &
Barba, interviews with two outstanding artisans, a delicious recipe to try and some original
fiction with a noir bend. I also wanted to take this moment to thank all of the contributors
over the years who have helped, each in their own way, to move The Cone further along the
path. Truly we could not be celebrating 5 years of publication without your efforts and
support. Some come and go, others have been in every issue from the start and more are
lending their talents to the pool. I hope one day to be writing about the 10 year anniversary
but I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself. We’ll just continue to make each issue the
best issue we can, striving to make each one better than the last and to keep you
entertained along the way. Thank you!
