Every neighborhood has it’s new must-visit
establishment! That cafe that does things with a
coffee bean that no one ever dreamed was possible,
or the bar where the cocktails and music will make
you want to become a regular. And in the “City of
Angels” there seem to be new HOT SPOTS
popping up everyday. One such spot is actually a
“cool spot” that sprouted up in the neighborhood
of Los Feliz. The recent wave of specialty Ice
Cream shops has come ashore on the East Side and
brought with it Jeni’s Ice Cream. So popular and
delicious it rang the death nell for a Gelato shop
that WAS only a stones throw away. An
environmentally responsible company started by
Jeni Britton Bauer in 2002, the Los Feliz location is
the first Jeni’s on the West Coast. Having tasted
their wares I am sure it won’t be the last. If you
feel like indulging yourself at home, Jeni’s sells
already hand packed pints of their creamy
concoctions.
