( On a Mountain Hike )
The path : It opened like a mountain flower Then river bloomed before us , wild as wood It flowed past rigid rock with graceful power To careless destinations , bad or good
Free water takes the path of least resistance Those first to come were never led astray And those who followed knew its fierce insistence So , wisely , let the water lead the way
Water runs , it will not stop to play And never , never , never runs uphill Water knows , lets nature have its way
