There is a lot of action on Abbot Kinney in
Venice, California. This popular shopping street
has changed greatly over the years and only time
will tell what the outcome of this change really
means to the neighborhood. One of those early
harbingers of change was Intelligensia cafe - a
chain establishment with a hip way to make and
present your morning cup of Joe. Though not as
warm and fuzzy as the old guard mom & pop
style cafe that still exists just a few blocks away,
Intelligensia does offer wonderfully prepared
drinks in a space that allows for study or a
relaxing quick drink & chat. With an offering of
pastry, as well as a few savory options means
you can snack while getting your java jones fix.
Well lit and with indoor and outdoor seating
Intelligensia shows us that some change can be
a good thing.
