If you are on the fence about pursuing a career in legal practice, you
could consider other exciting careers outside of the legal profession
which would allow you to utilise your legal knowledge and skills. You
could be a legal counsel, legal editor, investigative journalist, research
analyst, or management consultant, to name a few. I would suggest
undertaking internships and work placements in these fields to
discover more about these roles and to build your professional
network as early as possible.

ladder. What this means is our careers need not be mapped out from
the start. Each and every one of us have our own pathway to the ‘top’.
What is more important is for us to believe in ourselves, seize every
opportunity to grow, and keep chasing our dreams!
