Tyler Diedrich, '12
Diedrich, was recognized as 2012's Hellinger Award Runner-Up.
Shepherd received the Bob Koop Award for Broadcasting Excellence, along with the Hellinger Award, at graduation in May 2012. She also accepted the 2012 Tim Russert Medal of Merit from the Buffalo Broadcasters Association.
Hanchette, Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter, received 2012's Alumnus of the Year of the Russell J. Jandoli School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He retired in May 2012 after teaching for 10 years in the Jandoli School.
